February 4th

Last night I found that I wanted to snack and snack, it was hard. Maybe I need to go to bed early so I won't be tempted to overeat.

My goals today:
  • Keep track of all the food I eat
  • Treadmill 30 minutes
  • Drink 6 glasses of water

I'm on my way to the treadmill now before the kids wake up. It's early out week at school all week so I don't think I'll be able to squeeze in the treadmill later. I also need to hit the grocery store for some healthy food. I've got a list and I don't plan on buying anything tempting.

Update at 6:00pm:

I made the mistake of not eating a good breakfast so by the time I went grocery shopping I was sooo hungry. I binged on a few things right when we got home and although I was within my points I felt terrible. Lesson learned: don't go grocery shopping hungry while trying to eat healthy. My Parmesan Chicken Fingers for dinner were pretty good, I think I added to much garlic and my kids didn't like the garlic (altough I did). Let's hope I can stay on track for the evening.

Good for you for heading to the treadmill before your kids wake up!! I HATE the munchies...that's probably the hardest thing for me. Some how I need to teach myself that I don't need to be munching on things all the time! Good luck today!

Yea Becky! Good job on keeping with the points. That is really hard sometimes! As for the snacking, be sure to keep a bottle or glass of water in easy reach. Usually you are thirsty, not hungry, but our brains are trained to interpret it as hunger. So try that! Otherwise fruit is always a great substitute for a handful of cookies or chips!

OH I KNOW..going to the store when I'm hungry is NO good. hang in there...you stayed with in your points and that's great!
