February 1st

Good Morning! Can you believe all this snow we keep getting?

My goals today are:
  • Treadmill for 30 minutes
  • Read my Weight Watchers Material
  • Plan Healthy Meals for next week
  • Drink 6 glasses of water

I caught up on some much needed sleep this morning so while the baby is napping this afternoon I will use my treadmill. I'm excited to read all my new WW stuff, the meeting last night just covered the basics. I was embarrassed to go to the meeting but they didn't make me feel embarrassed at all when I was there and even though our leader was skinny and has been at her goal weight since about 2001 she said she had struggled with her weight her entire life. She said you could do either the Core or the Flex Plan but whichever one you choose you needed to do it for the entire week (their week is Sun through Sat). If the next week you wanted to try the other plan you could as long as you did either one for the entire week. She said many people start out with the Flex plan since it helps you learn portion sizes. I've never really kept track of exactly what I eat so the Flex plan will be new to me but it's good to know if I feel it's not working for me I can switch and try the Core plan and it's not like I'm starting over.

did you get the free enrollment or had that expired? I really wish I could go to meetings and yes, I think flex really teaches you about portion control! I guess I have done pretty good without going to the meetings. I hope you share some things you learn from your meetings on here.

Thats great that they give you options, I think it helps you to feel more in control of the process. It's also great to have someone teaching you who has actually gone through the process herself-and kept the weight off! Good for you!
